Andrea Spendolini-Sirieix won the women's 10-metre platform final at the British Diving Championships to qualify for that event at the Paris Olympics. <br/><br/>The 19-year-old diver, daughter of celebrity chef Fred Sirieix, won with a score of 363.7 points.<br/><br/>'I'm elated,' she told the BBC. 'Thank you for all the support and I give glory to God. <br/><br/>'I just kept on pushing through that competition.'<br/><br/>Her father posted on X: 'Well done Andrea.' <br/><br/>She added: 'I like to have my coach with me [between dives] just because he helps get my head out of my head. I like to listen to some gospel music just to re-center myself and just enjoy the competition.' <br/><br/>Asked what her goal is, she said: 'To enjoy myself! We'll see what happens in Paris but I just want to enjoy it.'<br/><br/>Lois Toulson came in second with 335.90 with Eden Cheng in third managed 327.75. <br/><br/>This was the key event in the qualification run for Paris for both the 3m and 10m diving competitions. <br/><br/>Spendolini-Sirieix won the event and achieved a pre-set points tally in both the preliminaries and final, meaning a second place is available also. <br/><br/>Jack Laugher claimed first in the men's 3m at the Sandwell Aquatics Centre to make himself the prime candidate to be selected for that event in Paris. <br/><br/>The 29-year-old came fourth in the preliminaries but won the final with 507.20 points, ahead of Jordan Houlden on 476.20 points and Dan Goodfellow, who scored 471.60.<br/><br/>'The first three are my easier dives and, if I do them well, I know I'm in good stead for the final three,' said Laugher.<br/><br/>'A little wobble on my fourth but fifth and sixth were really good so I'm very happy.'<br/><br/>Spendolini-Sirieix were already going to Paris for Team Great Britain as they had been chosen among the synchronized pairings.

The film than fast forwards to the 1960's when the brothers have grown up a bit. Yung is always being a troublemaker and gets in to deep trouble when he lands himself with major gambling debt. When Yung and Kwok try to pay off the gambling debt by stealing money from a gang boss named Boss Chu (柯俊雄 Ko Chun-hsiung), they land themselves in even more trouble. Eventually, Boss Chu and his men get their hands on Kwok. Yung and his sister Wong Wai-chiu (王小鳳 Pauline Wong Siu-fung) than have to beg for the help of none other than Brother Chai (Chow Yun Fat), one of the heads of the Chinese Triads.<br/><br/>Brother Chai has no need to help them. However, he feels bad for the siblings and knows that it is the right thing to do. He also wants to show Boss Chu that he shouldn't be so brutal and hard on people. With Kwok's release, Yung and Kwok become indentured workers to Brother Chai. While many stories and characters branch off from these events, two main stories drive the rest of the film.<br/><br/>1. The slow dissipation of the relationship between Kwok and Yung.<br/><br/>2. The rising tension between Boss Chu and Brother Chai.<br/>")
