Early '09 I noticed my neighbor's (then 15) year old Maine Coon, Spike, letting a very paranoid stray feed from his bowl. I watched this exchange from a distance on and off for months. Spike behaved kindly toward his hungry visitor. The day after Thanksgiving '09 I saw the stray show up with two tiger kittens in tow, energetic and quite wild.
