Description: 15th September 1864 was the day when explorers Richard Burton and John Hanning Speke were due to have a public debate to decide who actually was the first European to discover the Source of the River Nile at Jinjain Uganda. The meeting, scheduled at Queen's Square in Bath, never happened because Speke, wile going hunting pheasant in the morning, was accidentally killed by his own gun while climbing over a stone stile. The exact place is revealed in this short monologue (with an extra pheasant)
