But an interesting bit of trivia is that she beat another former child star in the last 4 of the auditions for the part, that of Victoria Shalet of The Queen's Nose fame, who was a big fan of the novel.")

Making a name for Jemima Rooper and Daniel Newman as the teenage lovers, it also features Lee Ingleby and Susan Penhaligon, who made her name in Bouquet of Barbed Wire in 1976. <br/><br/>(A note: I did upload Episode 3, but it was removed. I did have this on tape but it was missing the first 15 mins, which is why by chance I happened to save this when it was on Youtube to watch later on.
